Ciao a tutti,
molto spesso si sente dire in giro: "questa versione del firmware è molto piu' veloce di quest'altra...", oppure "impostare lo swap in questo modo è molto meglio che in quest'altro..." o anche "il Motorola Milestone overcloccato è molto più veloce del Nexus One" ecc ecc.

Orbene, vi segnalo questa utile applicazione (***URLs are hidden from guests, please register and login to view the hyperlink***) che serve proprio per fare un test di velocità della VM Dalvik utilizzata da Android (velocità che ovviamente dipende anche dall'HW utilizzato nello smartphone e dall'efficienza della versione del firmware utilizzata...).

Ecco il mio risultato:

Device: HTC Dream TIM
FW: CyanogenMod 4.2.14.1 (Android 1.6) + RamHack
MFLOPS: 1.782
Time: 3.04 sec.

io ho fatto 2.243 come miglior risultato!

Ho fatto un'altro giro perchè mi sono accorto che ero molto sotto la media, ed il risultato è stato piu' in linea con i vostri:
Device: HTC Dream TIM
FW: CyanogenMod 4.2.14.1 (Android 1.6) + RamHack
MFLOPS: 2.251
Time: 3.36 sec.

Aspetto di vedere qualche MOSTRO all'opera (Milestone, Nexus One ma anche Acer A1 Liquid) :a14:

Ciao Verix, con la versione "cucinata" da HTCCLAY della CM 5.0.7 test4 + overclock, ho raggiunto dei livelli che definirei ottimi (quasi 4.8 MFLOPS), solo che la continuità in termini di stabilità non l'ho ancora trovata, infatti dopo un periodo il telefono "rallenta" ed ottengo valori molto bassi, poi si risveglia e torna su. Forse che l'Hardware dei nostri Dream/G1 non può sopportare a lungo OC?

Ciao a tutti: mi piacerebbe sapere il risultato del test di velocità su un Nexus One Google con firmware originale, e di uno con CyanogenMod.
Qualche anima pia che ha un N1 in uno dei due casi, può postare il risultato ?

io ho visto risultati del N1 da batista70phone con 2.2 froyo..
benchmark sui 38-40 mflops!
...e ricordatevi che la froyo non sarà disponibile a breve per tutti i devices..N1 ha già la beta a 38Mflops,pensate la stabile!!!
