Galaxy: non riesco ad abilitare la root!!!

Ho installato la Recovery 4.6.2 sul mio Samsung Galaxy (con ROM ufficiale 1.6)

faccio il recovery boot e mi appare correttamente il menu con tutte le opzioni

quindi seleziono "Enable root (su)"
premo il tasto HOME

ed il responso è:
"Operation Complete!"
quindi l'operazione dovrebbe essere riuscita

ma poi se con Root Explorer vado a leggere la cartella /data/ mi dice che il telefono non è rooted

e anche se utilizzo l'applicazione Wireless Tether mi dice:
"Not Root: Sorry, but root privileges are needed to run this application"

qualcuno sa come mai?!?!?!?

non capisco!!!!!!!!!

penso proprio che con la rom ufficiale tu non possa utilizzare il root,ma ti serva una rom "cucinata"..se sbaglio correggetemi!

E' obbligatorio avere una rom cucinata è giusto iCe

(oltre che la recovery ovvio)
